ipop is back...

in an effort to make our 3rd quarter numbers gap decided to 'strongly encourage' anyone who could to take this wed-fri as PTO. in doing my part i complied and am taking a mini sf vaca with jackie and zoe. the bad part was that hannah had a cold most of the week so one of us was sleeping with her all night - which really means not sleeping at all. she's almost over it now, but wed we had to take her to the doc's to make sure her ears and lungs were clear. also got the car tuned up and various errands. yesterday we arranged for a siitter for zoe, got on the bikes for an hour before it started to rain, then went for a great lunch at SPQR.

i realized yesterday that i had 'lost my baby' - skilz that is and was pretty useless in helping take care of zecondi. i decided to fix that and after a 1:1 lesson from jack on zoothing zoe i got my baby back. after keeping her up through tracy's pumpkin carving party - which was key - she made it from 8:30-11 before i gave her a dream feed and then until 4. the increase dose of zantac helped as well - and i got her out of the swing and sleeping in the moses basket for the first time in a long while. i think we're turning a corner here and can see some restful nights for all in the future.

ipop is back in the saddle.

and a good thing because there is news on the daycare front. we got a spot for zoe starting in feb! that means i will take january off when jackie returns to work and be ipop for a month. looking forward to the break.
