Merry Christmas!

ho, ho, ho!

Hannah had a blast her first christmas. favorite activities included:

unwrapping presents
eating wrapping paper
sitting in her 'walker'
eating wrapping paper
ripping wrapping paper (say that three times fast)

and, oh yes, playing with her new (to her) toys. we recycled many from clio and thalia - thanks girls!

we also went to see grandma, grandpa and her cousin isaiah. isaiah (4) was very clear about all the things he can do that hannah cannot. he gave hannah a necklace that he made (for his mom for christmas).

we had a great traditional korean lunch at uncle mark and aunt elizabeth's house. unfortunately joshua and deborah were at a Y ski trip and not returning until friday.

we stopped by to see the bells at michelle's condo in san mateo. hannah had a great time with josue, tess and parker.

we then hightailed it back to the city for an amazing dinner at the rebello-dehazes' including seafood bisque, deconstructed nicoise salad, roasted veal, cheese course and jenna's persimmon pudding and poached pear.

Happy Birthday Dad 12/19/07

Happy Birthday Dad!
I love the cool snowboarding sweatshirt i got from sandy for hannah-uka!

Hannah gave me the best present of all by getting ALL better. She's all over her first serious cold/bronchitis/double ear infection which kept her out of daycare for a week.

jack took me out for a great dinner at canteen while our friend cara 'watched' hannah sleep.

hannah's been clapping her hands like crazy, loving standing up with only help for balance and is sooooo close to crawling. she's doing 360s on the floor scooting around on her butt, going up and over on her hands and sometimes still faceplanting, which leads to a bit of whining until she gets righted by one of us.

she's eating more and more solids, enjoying bagels, cheerios, squash, avocado, sweet potatoes, green beans and carrots.

she's also still diggin the piano milt and roberta sent us so long ago that we thought we'd never need it. she plays it on her own for 20 minutes at a time in the morning while we get ready.
