Thanksgiving 2007 in Atlanta

Hannah had a great time in the park but evan stole the show with his frisbee skillz

we had a great time in atlanta for thanksgiving. the flight there (on thanksgiving day) was uneventful. we arrived just in time for dinner and the wine we shipped in advance had arrived the day before.

on saturday we managed to get everyone outdoors to a local park for fun on the swings. ilan and ayal got a pick up game of ultimate going with some locals. rachel made some scientific observations and hannah enjoyed her bagel and the swing. evan stole the show with his frisbee skillz.

the flight home was another story...we were 'those people' with 'the screamer'. jack and i had both caught hannah's cold, she was just plain cranky, tired, bored and LOUD.

jack was supermom sunday night and took care of the monster while i slept off the cold on double doses of decongestant.

Shade - who we met in the hospital when hannah was born, and colin, who's mom works with jackie - both came over for brunch on sunday. the kids had a pretty good time together hanging out, sharing balls and attempting to suck each others toes. the big kids enjoyed nova, bagels and bloodies while sharing tales of cryin it out (and others who don't). it was a great reunion.

she still has a bit of a stomach bug. we've switched to a soy formula and it seems to be helping - she's keeping it down and sleeping peacefuly. we have to get her healthy for thanksgiving in the ATL which is coming sooner than any of us imagined.

Hannah had a great time on her first halloween. one of the teachers made pumpkin costumes for her whole class to wear for the parade. we didn't really think she need the stufing, but she was a pretty damn cute pumpkin.

the piggy outfit was also a hit. we went over to 'sheik' derrick's, met up with the superhero family of wondertwins, zorro, darth luke, the mermaid the bunny and the cat. we strolled down cortland street which was packed as usual. we loved the burrito and we ran into marcia giving out candy as well.

she caught a stomach bug this week and got kicked out of school for 24 hours after puking up a storm at school. we pumped her full of pedialite and a little rice ceral and some light formula bottles. she was better the next day. jack and i both worked from home and tag teamed meetings. i got a lot more done than her since her computer has no RAM and it took until 3 pm for her mail to get updated.

it's amazing how big hannah's getting. she's out of all but a couple 6-12 month clothes and fitting comfortably in 12-18. at 7 months.
