Dream Feed
12:30 PM She seems to be sleeping well (or just hanging out but quietly) without the swaddle. Topped of with 3 oz at 12:30 should help her sleep through the night...we'll see how this compares to no dream feed.
fingers crossed and eyes closing...
4:00 AM and 4 more oz later...and you snicker over your latte
several theories fly through the head -
- should have kept her swaddled
- fed her too much
- fed her not enough
- she did not sleep enough during the day
- she was cold
- she was hot
- changed too much at one time
- should have let her cry it out - pr CIO as they say

Well, when I was a baby my mom was a big believer in "cry it out". But the problem was that her cat kept running back and forth between the nursery and the living room, meowing at her loudly to not ignore her crying baby. Guilt trip from the cat. Excellent. Best of luck!

Good Morning, Josh and Hannah:
Thanks for the "Hannah at 3 mos." pictures this morning and your blog is a treat for those of us far away...a nice benefit to having you at home for a while. Love to you all and I'll keep reading. Just Sandy
okay - my .02:
first off - great idea with the daddy blog.
awesome.
2nd - i love that photobooth thingy - what mac are you rocking these days, pray tell?
3rd 4th 5th and 6th, yadda yadda.
they sleep when they wanna sleep. they eat when they wanna eat, etc....one thing we did find out the hard way:
the more you feed em at night, the more they want, no way around it...we got to the point of every two hours with the bottle...ugly...
then a smart pediatrician said: feed him water when he wakes up - he'll be bloody pissed off the first two nights, but when he realizes that he's waking up for a lousy glass of water, he'll start sleeping through the night - i was dubious. but she was dead on..two nights of hell, then blissful sleeping thru the night.. feed her a lot at the last feed before bedtime, then make her suffer the H2O treatment for the rest of the night.
the CIO never worked for us with either kid - we once endured it for a solid hour, visting every 5 min, then 10, then 20 - it sucked. works for some, but man it's torture. no way you'd be able to do that ya big softee...
as far as the nap - nap time and duration never made any difference to bed time for us, or waking in the night...let her sleep till sh's had enough - it's all about the milk...she'd gettin greedy now...cut her off in the night and you'll all be right as rain i say, but thats the thing about those pesky new humans - they're allso damn different!
what a great time to be home...mazel my friend. enjoy.
