Day 17
starting to feel a bit more comfortable during tummy time
11:30 pm she woke up at 11:30 ready of a feed - is she getting used to the dream feeds now? eesh.
4:30 am - awake and starving again
after both times she fell back asleep quickly
she was kind of pukey all day yesterday. dad has finally convinced mom that her diet can effect her daughter's digestion. i really think she has issues with tomatoes, dairy and some other seedy/spicy stuff.
she's now down for her big nap. after that we'll try and get back on schedule.
sonia and domiano of www.juniorflav.com fame came over for lunch. we blew the photo op in the morning and by the time they had to go dom was sacked out.
went to visit the daycare yesterday - it's part of the marin day school / bright horizon's group. once i got over the sticker shock we're both pretty happy about the situation. we're set for the next 5 years and they will help getting in to the next level. i've talked with many parents at gap who's kids have a great time there.
i'll start her off gradually in september for a couple hours at a time and then maybe a few days when i will NOT go for bike rides.
looks like the fog is burning of a bit - have to get out for a stroll today.
as we wrap up week three things are going well. although there's been a bit of a set back with sleeping through the night we've got a very happy very healthy kid who eat like a champ, bats stuff around and is starting to grab onto stuff and a place for her to go in the fall, all or which we are very thankful for.

I saw this poem in the subway and I loved it too much to wait for when Hannah has a tooth. I hope you love it, too.
A Little Tooth
by Thomas Lux
Your baby grows a tooth, then two,
and four, and five, then she wants some meat directly from the bone. It's all
over: she'll learn some words, she'll fall in love with cretins, dolts, a sweet talker on his way to jail. And you,
your wife, get old, flyblown, and rue nothing. You did, you loved, your feet are sore. It's dusk. Your daughter's tall.
